No, feminism is for everybody!

In the book ‘feminism is for everybody,’ the author, bell hooks explains the often misunderstood term ‘feminism’:

‘Simply put, feminism is a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression’

Keeping this in mind, we are all able to act based on this ‘framework’ and make intentional decisions that are anti-sexist, non-violent and gender-sensitive. Don’t you think?

If we ask men/fathers about gender equality they say: Absolutely!

When we ask them about feminism they say: Feminism? Well…

But it’s not a men vs. women issue. It’s about people vs. prejudices.

Modern fathers can take a different kind of caretaking role in the lives of their children.
