Insane! This New Job Pays You Up to $335,000 per Year for Writing Prompts

  • 1 min read

It’s one of the hottest jobs right now.

There are many writers on Medium who love to iterate with titles such as:

  • How to Get The Best Version of You
  • How to Finally Start Becoming the Best Version of You

Well, writing is an iterative process.

Different versions of a story can be called iterations.

I understand why writers are doing it: they get better and better, learn from the feedback they get and finally share a blog post that earns them real money.

The same goes for the job I’d like to introduce to you. It’s a different type of writing.

It’s writing a prompt for a chatbot.

“Writing a really great prompt for a chatbot persona is an amazingly high-leverage skil,” Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, tweeted.

The cool thing about a “prompt engineer”, you write prose, not code but can communicate with AI — companies pay up to $335,000 per year.
