Live Your Life On Your Terms

don’t imitate what others are doing

Your peers will respect you for your integrity and character, not your possessions. — David Robinson

Society conditioned us to search for happiness by accumulating stuff (we don’t really need). To compare ourselves with our colleagues, neighbors, or influencers.

Let no one convince you that if you own, for instance, a bigger house you will be happy.

Better: Start to aspire for a better home and not a bigger house.

When we moved from our 80 m² apartment to a larger 160 m² apartment earlier this year, there was something about our lifestyle that felt tragically wrong.

In hindsight, we should have strived for a better home — no matter what size.

Don’t imitate what others are doing.

Live your life on your terms!
