You need to connect the dots.
I experienced many situations in my entrepreneurial journey where so many people would have just let their frustration get the best of them, and given up.
I’m an optimistic realist.
Whenever I experience a setback I ask myself:
“How can this be good?”
As Apple founder Steve Jobs used to say:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
Inspired by Jobs, I take the high road and ask myself what can I learn from my *failure* and how I can use the experience to make myself better and more capable.
Thus I use setbacks and challenges as a motivator to do better.
What we often deem as *failure* is just an opportunity to learn and do better.
