There Is Too Much Pressure To Be Perfect On Social Media

  • 1 min read

We long for authenticity and real connections

You can’t buy trust. You have to build it. Slowly but steadily.

A long time ago, I closed my chapter on perfection.

I learned that perfect just doesn’t exist, and that’s the beauty of it.

Research from GWI shows that 45% of Gen Z are tired of “picture perfect” posts.

They think there is too much pressure to be perfect and people should show their real selves.

In fact, as human beings, we are more likely to trust someone if we know their struggles.

By sharing our messy stories, our failures, lessons learned, and our mistakes, we can build trust.

I don’t care about impressing others online. I share what I want to share.

If you want people to engage with your content, dare to be vulnerable. Share your struggles and mistakes.
